YTH genes
YTH family members are highly conserved and contain an aromatic pocket YTH domain that is used to recognize the base of N6-methyladenosine. The proteins of the YTH domain can be divided into two different subfamilies: YTHDF and YTHDC. YTHDF subfamily proteins mainly bind to all N6-methyladenosine sites in mRNA, while YTHDC only binds to certain nuclear enrichment sites in mRNAs and non-coding RNAs.
Our database uses Arabidopsis as a model species to count the number of 544 YTH genes in 27 Brassicaceae species, which is convenient for researchers to browse and download.
